Do you sell gift cards? Absolutely! You can purchase them right on the webcart or call us at 206-720-7017 for a gift card in any denomination. Makes a wonderful gift for new parents, get well soon or someone you just really care about.

Does it come fresh or frozen? All the entrées come fresh made to order! We suggest ordering more frequently and eating fresh, although many of the items are freezable. The items we consider to be more freezable are marked on the menu and on the label.

How do I reheat the entrées? Just preheat the oven and light a few candles! Cooking directions are on the label and only take 15-20 minutes. All entrées are fully cooked and ready to heat & serve. For best results, we suggest using your oven, but everything is microwaveable, too.

How does the food arrive? The entrées are beautifully garnished and packaged in wonderful, airtight serving trays that are fully ovenable, microwaveable, recyclable and freezable. Your delivery will arrive in a gel-ice packed styrofoam cooler to your work or home between 9am-6pm and you don't need to be present. Just leave the cooler and gel-ice packs out for us on your next delivery. What are the entrée portions like? The Medium Entrée is just about right for one person, although bigger eaters might want a Large Entrée. The Medium size is 12oz of food and usually consists of 4oz of protein, 4oz of veggies and 4oz of grain. The Large Entrée is a whole pound of food (16oz) and usually consists of 6oz of protein, 5oz of veggies and 5oz of grain or starch.

Any commitments? There are no commitments or obligations at all. Just order whenever you need food. We have a complimentary personal shopper service for people who would like to get set up with an ongoing plan of any quantity and frequency. How organic is it? Our kitchen is organic right down to the fresh spices and oils. For example, we use Draper Valley Organic Chicken, Diestel Turkey, St. Helen's Natural Beef and only Sustainably Harvested Wild Fish. We use only the highest quality ingredients because we have a serious grudge against chemicals, hormones and inhumane treatment of animals. Plus, organic tastes a lot better. We also compost all our scraps through Cedar Grove.

Is the packaging recyclable or compostable? The entrée containers and lids are fully recyclable, so wash them out and put them in your curbside pickup. The deli containers are made of corn plastic, so there are no petroleum products involved, unlike most plastic deli containers. They are recycleable or compostable, so you can either put them in your compost, your yard waste container, or your recycling bin, where the city will compost them. The soup containers are also recyclable, but unfortunately their lids are not. Also, the small sauce tubs are not recyclable.

Do you make substitutions? Yes, we make substitutions on anything in the Entrée & Kids Meal categories, so if you're allergic to dairy or if you just don't like onions, please let us know in the "Special Instructions" field of your profile during checkout and we'll take care of it. If we can't handle it, we'll let you know right away.

Do you do low-carb diets? Our meals have almost no refined carbs already, but if you want no carbs at all, just put "Low carb. Please substitute more veg instead of starch whenever possible" in the "Special Instructions" field of your profile during checkout and we'll take care of it.

What about food allergies and sensitivities? Food allergies and sensitivities are our specialty! Our food is already low in many common allergens such as Wheat and Dairy, but for no extra charge we will completely work around Wheat (or all Gluten), Cheese (or all Dairy), Soy, Nuts and Corn on anything in the Dinner Entrée, Lunch Entrée and Kids Meal categories. Please use the checklist in your profile during checkout. If there's an item that you want us to not apply the dietary restrictions to, you can just mention that in the "Special Instructions" field during checkout and we'll take care of it.
